A step by step guide to pool mining Polygon MATIC Crypto with Your Computer in 2022. I see a lot of users getting frustrated by not being able to get MATIC tokens on the Polygon network. I wanted to come up with a easy to use guide to mining to get yourself your very own using just the power of your own computer. I am hoping that many find this useful so they can get started on the Polygon Network which is a layer 2 Ethereum protocol.

Let us get started:

STEP 1: Get yourself a wallet that supports the Polygon network. I use Metamask.

Connect Metamask with the Polygon network:

1. Go to the settings page in Metamask.
2. Click on Networks >> Add Network.
3. Type in the following details:

Network Name: Matic Mainnet
RPC URL: https://matic-mainnet-archive-rpc.bwarelabs.com
ChainID: 137
Symbol: MATIC
Block Explorer URL: https://polygonscan.com

Copy your Matic deposit address from your wallet so you can receive the coins.

STEP 2:

Download XMRig from the official site or the Github repository.

• Xmrig Github Releases

Once you download the .zip file, extract it into a location on your computer. For example c:\XMRig\

Inside the XMRig folder, edit file called “pool_mine_example.cmd”

Edit to this format:

cd %~dp0
xmrig.exe -o rx.unmineable.com:3333 -u MATIC:0x6F0372DF0ff2a1A1E6D3960xxxxxxxxxx.cpuworker#lb8p-2kb7 -p x --cpu-no-yield
pause

On the line after the -o you can see the Pool URL, change to one of the following URLs (based on your location).

USA: rx-us.unmineable.com:3333
Europe: rx-eu.unmineable.com:3333
Asia: rx-asia.unmineable.com:3333

After the MATIC: you should put in your MATIC wallet address followed by a .workname and #lb8p-2kb7 which is my referral code, which is entirely optional but you will enjoy a -.25% mining fee by using my code lb8p-2kb7.

To start mining simply right click on the cmd file and run as administrator and the mining process will start.

You can check your mining progress on unmineable.com click wallet and copy in your address, under workers select RandomX. Be sure to turn on the Auto pay ever 12 hours whenever balance is over 3 MATIC.
