If you’re a WordPress user, chances are you’ve come across a few errors here and there. While some are easy to fix, others can be a little frustrating. Today, we’re going to look at one particular error and how to solve it.

The error we’re talking about is the “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)” error. This usually happens when you’re trying to access a WordPress page or post that doesn’t exist. The good news is, it’s easy to fix.

First, you need to make sure that you’re using the correct URL. If you’re unsure what the URL should be, you can check the WordPress Codex. Once you have the correct URL, simply enter it into your browser and hit enter.

If that doesn’t work, the next step is to check your .htaccess file. This file is located in the root directory of your WordPress installation. If you can’t find it, try doing a search for it.

Once you’ve found the file, open it up and look for the following line of code:

# BEGIN WordPress

If you see that line, delete it and then save the file. This should fix the problem and you should now be able to access the page or post you were trying to reach.

If you’re still having trouble, feel free to contact your WordPress hosting provider. They’ll be able to help you troubleshoot the problem and get you up and running in no time.
