If you’re running a WordPress site on an Apache server, you may occasionally run into issues with your site not loading properly. There are a few potential causes for this, but one of the most common is an issue with the .htaccess file.

The .htaccess file is used by Apache to configure various settings for your site. If this file becomes corrupt or is otherwise modified, it can cause problems with your site.

Fortunately, there’s an easy fix for this issue. Simply connect to your site via FTP and download the .htaccess file. Once you have the file, you can open it in a text editor and make any necessary changes. Once you’ve saved your changes, upload the file back to your server and your site should start working again.
